Hamonic (upper body) may not play before he Islanders leave on a five game road trip Thursday, according to the Newsday. Hamonic has missed the past two games and will only have one practice to prove to the coaching staff that he is ready to play before Tuesday's game versus Winnipeg. Hamonic is miscast as a top pair defender but after the team gave up five goals to Dallas on Saturday they can't wait to get him back.
