Hamonic (knee) is questionable at best to play Wednesday versus the Capitals, according to Newsday. Hamonic suffered the injury during Friday's game against the Penguins and sat out the season finale Saturday. If he were to miss any time it would be a big blow to the Islanders who are already short on defense and can't afford to lose their best defender with Alexander Ovechkin waiting to announce his presence during the playoffs.
