Hamilton has been acquired by the Panthers from the Bruins. Boston will acquire Florida's 2015 first-round pick (No. 15 overall) and two 2015 second-round picks (No. 45 and No. 52 overall). Wow. The Bruins give up a promising blueliner with his best years in front of him in order to stockpile some picks and some infused youth. Other than budding superstar Aaron Ekbland, the Panthers have a veteran-oriented blue line corps, so Hamilton should immediately provide that unit with some more scoring and upside. Hamilton posted 42 points in 72 games last season.
