Halischuk is an NHL veteran, playing 250 career games, with 93 of those coming with the Jets from 2013-15. The gritty winger scored 15 goals with Nashville in 2011-12, but his production has tailed off in recent seasons, failing to score more than five goals in a season since then. Halischuk will likely skate on the Jets' fourth line until Adam Lowry is recalled from Manitoba.
