While this is certainly a good step toward a full recovery for Hainsey, it leaves his status for Wednesday's matchup with Chicago in question considering he hasn't been cleared for contact. The irony with the veteran's ailment is that he was specifically brought in due to a lack of depth on the Pens' blue line resulting from injuries. The 36-year-old has logged 10 games in a Pittsburgh sweater -- in which he tallied a lone helper -- but has missed the previous six. David Warsofsky will likely continue to fill in for Hainsey until he is given the all clear.
