Tarasenko snapped one past Anton Forsberg from the top of the left circle to open the scoring for the Red Wings in Friday's loss. Tarasenko could challenge for 30 goals in 2024-25 for the first time since 2021-22, playing on a line with Patrick Kane. Tarasenko has been fairly durable over the last three years as well -- he's appeared in at least 69 contests per season during that span. The two-time Stanley Cup champion will occupy a top-six role and skate with one of Detroit's power-play units.
