Greg Zanon is not expected to re-up with the Boston Bruins prior to July 1. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent and will likely see what's available on the open market. Zanon recorded eight points, 116 hits, 136 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in 56 games between Minnesota and Boston during the 2011-12 campaign. He also appeared in seven playoff contests with the Bruins. He doesn't have much fantasy value, aside from his work in specialty categories, so he shouldn't be on your radar for standard leagues. Still, he should attract some interest from teams looking for a veteran defender, who doesn't shy away from the grittier work.
