Carlsson penned a one-year, two-way contract with Florida on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Carlsson saw action in 12 games with the Blackhawks this season in which he garnered one assist, 10 shots and six hits while averaging 13:04 of ice time. After being acquired by the Panthers at the trade deadline, the blueliner went unused on the NHL roster but evidently showed the organization enough to keep around longer. Given his two-way deal, fantasy players should be expecting Carlsson to split time between the AHL and NHL this year.
