Gomez spent 22:10 on the ice Tuesday in his first game back with the Devils, but went scoreless along with the rest of the team. He managed one shot on goal and one hit while winning just eight of 20 faceoffs. Not the most inspiring start to Gomez's second go-'round with New Jersey, as that's a lot of ice time for not a lot of stats, but the fact that he skated such heavy minutes does offer a small amount of promise for fantasy owners.
