Goldobin was called up from AHL San Jose on Wednesday, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.

Goldobin is a new name on the Sharks recall shuffle list, as he has spent the entire season in the minors since being sent down at the conclusion of training camp. In 43 games with the Barracuda, the winger has racked up an impressive 37 points which is third best on the team. With Joonas Donskoi (upper body) out of the lineup, San Jose need a winger for Wednesday's matchup with the Panthers, but that spot will likely go to Timo Meier who was also recalled.
