Goaltender Tim Thomas had a nice night for the Florida Panthers, blocking 31 shots in regulation and overtime en route to a 2-1 shootout win over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday. Thomas made his second start for the Panthers after missing four games because of a groin injury. He lost 3-2 on Thursday to the Boston Bruins, his former team.
