Goaltender Josh Harding made 37 saves in a strong home outing Sunday to help the Minnesota Wild beat the San Jose Sharks 3-1. Harding, who improved to 13-1 at home, is 16-4-3 overall. He has an NHL-best 1.52 goals-against average and a.938 save percentage, and he moved into a second-place tie with San Jose goalie Antti Niemi and Pittsburgh's Marc-Andre Fleury for most wins. It was the second straight game Minnesota allowed a high number of shots. The team was outshot 41-20 in a 4-0 loss at Columbus on Friday. Harding didn't play in that game, and he was more than up to the task against the Sharks. He was at his best in the second period, stopping 21 shots, including quickly getting his glove up to rob Joe Pavelski on a slap shot from the left circle. The Sharks had just six shots in the third period.
