Giordano found the back of the net in Thursday's 2-1 overtime victory over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Giordano's second strike in three games came on the power play in the first period, and was the last goal scored until fellow Flames rearguard Dougie Hamilton ended it in the extra frame. The captain has been underwhelming this year with only 11 points in 30 games, but he's put up five over his last 10 and owns a decent plus-7 rating to go with 66 shots on goal. That said, Calgary is playing well right now (five-game winning streak, 7-2-1 over their last 10), so Giordano should continue to get plenty of chances to hit the scoresheet and make up for his slow start.
