Stanton signed a professional tryout contract with the Blackhawks on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old made his NHL debut with the Blackhawks in 2012-13, and he's a veteran of 120 games. Stanton spent last season with AHL Rockford, so he has some familiarity with the organization, but he's unlikely to get more than a two-way contract even if he impresses in training camp.
