Galchenyuk signed a one-year, $750,000 contract with the Coyotes on Tuesday, Darren Dreger of TSN reports.

The veteran forward has played with four teams in the last two seasons after his previous one-year stint with Arizona ended. Galchenyuk will at least provide a veteran presence to a rebuilding Coyotes team. He logged 13 points, 44 hits and 62 shots on goal in 34 contests between the Senators and the Maple Leafs last year. The Wisconsin native could see a middle-six role given the lack of forward depth the Coyotes have in 2021-22.
