General manager Ron Hextall said Alex Lyon would be recalled from AHL Philadelphia if Steve Mason (illness) cannot play Sunday, Sam Carchidi of CSN Philly reports.

Lyon was actually pulled from the Phantoms game Saturday as a precaution. The Flyers are hurting with Mason under the weather and Michal Neuvirth (undisclosed) suffered a scary collapse in the win against the Devils. If Lyon is recalled he is likely to serve as the backup to Anthony Stolarz.
