Gaustad (upper body) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Stars, NHL.com's Robby Stanley reports. Gaustad was unable to resume skating Thursday, so coach Peter Laviolette went ahead and ruled the center out for the weekend. The Predators are still listing Gaustad as day-to-day after he was forced out of Tuesday's game following a punishing hit from the Canucks' Alex Burrows.
