Garrison has been selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL Expansion Draft, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports.

In addition to Garrison, Vegas is receiving prospect Nikita Gusev, a 2017 2nd round pick and 2018 4th round pick from the Lightning. It's heavy haul, but Tampa had a bunch of players that they wanted to keep in the expansion draft. Garrison had a cannon of a shot and has scored as many as 16 goals in a single season, but he posted just a single goal and nine points in 70 points for the Lightning in 2016-17. Assuming he gets power play time for the Golden Knights, he could make for a sneaky selection in deeper leagues.
