Pearson helped out on a Nils Hoglander goal in the second period after the two wingers were united with Bo Horvat on the top line. The 29-year-old Pearson snapped a five-game point drought with the helper. He's struggled a bit this year with one goal, three assists and 28 shots on net through 11 contests. He'll need to up the scoring pace to avoid getting shuffled down the lineup as head coach Travis Green continues to look for a way to spark his offense.
