Galchenyuk scored the game-winning goal on the power play in Tuesday's 1-0 overtime win over the Blue Jackets. It was the second game in as many nights that he ended with a power-play goal in overtime.
EDGE Analysis
Until the game-winner, the 23-year-old center was a non-entity, having just one shot on net and lost nine of 10 faceoffs. But that's the brilliance of Galchenyuk who can create offense in a moment, particularly on the power play. He's locked on the third line for now, but he'll continue to skate on Montreal's top power-play unit. Three of the four points he's posted in the last three games have come the man-advantage unit.
