The rookie has 18 goals, 40 points and plus-21 rating on the season, meaning this negative-one effort has been a rarity for the already-sound two-way forward. Regardless, for a team trying to make a playoff push, this isn't the kind of performance it wanted against the NHL's cellar-dweller.
