Gabriel Landeskog, Matt Duchene, and P.A. Parenteau are still working on developing some on-ice chemistry as the Colorado Avalanche's top line. "(O'Reilly) and I had a lot of chemistry together. We just kind of worked hard and kept it simple. With me and Dutchy and P.A, it's a little different," Landeskog said. "They're two different players. They're both extremely skilled, so I'm trying to do the dirty work and try to work it down low as much as possible. It's going to take some time, but they're such good players, it shouldn't be that hard." It shouldn't take too long before the trio starts to gel. That being said, if the Avalanche ink restricted free agent Ryan O'Reilly in the near future, then the team's top line will probably get broken up.
