Gabriel Landeskog is still on his entry level contract this season and therefore is still on a two-way contract. Landeskog inked a seven-year/$39 million extension in the off-season but that deal will kick in next season after he completes his entry level contract. It seems strange that the captain of the team could still be sent to the AHL but that is part of an ELC. Look for Landeskog to get 25-30 goals and close to 60 points with plenty of hits and blocked shots this season if he remains healthy.
