The team is reportedly looking to deal the veteran before the trade deadline. However, Gaborik is 35 years old and has four years left on his contract so it might not be terribly easy to move him. He is scoreless over his past nine games and he has just 13 points on the season. At this point he is only worth a look in deeper fantasy pools until he starts to show some consistency. Perhaps a change of scenery will get him back on track.
