Frolik will be sidelined for "a few weeks" with an upper-body injury.
EDGE Analysis
Although Frolik reportedly won't require surgery, the upper-body injury he suffered in Tuesday's game against the Sharks is apparently serious enough to hold the former first-round pick out of action long term. Given his recovery timetable, Frolik likely won't be ready to return to Calgary's lineup until early January. The 27-year-old winger has played quite well in a bottom-six role with the Flames this season, tallying 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 30 games.
