Frederik Andersen has been called up by the Anaheim Ducks. Andersen has a 2.48 GAA and .924 save percentage in 21 AHL games this season. Viktor Fasth was sent to the minors to get some extra playing time following a hip injury, so Andersen has an outside chance of making the Ducks as a backup goaltender. That being said, even if Andersen is part of the Ducks' opening game roster, it probably won't be a permanent gig.
