Frederick Andersen's tremendous play in goal is making it difficult for coach Trent Yawney to use Igor Bobkov. Bobkov started the season as Norfolk's top goalie but Andersen got his chance and has not looked back. Andersen has allowed only five goals in his last four games to lead the Admirals to a 3-0-1 mark while stopping 128 shots for a .962 save percentage. He is 7-6-0 this season with a 2.38 GAA and a .928 save percentage while Bobkov has been the worst goalie in the AHL with a 3.99 GAA to go with a .886 save percentage and a 3-6-0 record. No wonder Yawney is using the Danish netminder so much.
