Franzen (groin) is still not skating in practice for the Red Wings, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports. Although Franzen's injury shouldn't be a long-term one, he has missed Detroit's past four games and isn't expected to return until Oct. 31. The 34-year-old winger was off to a hot start this season, scoring two goals and three assists in four games played.
