Franzen (concussion) acknowledged Wednesday that he isn't expecting to return to the lineup during the playoffs, Ted Kulfan of the Detroit News reports. Franzen hasn't played since suffering a concussion Jan. 6, and still appears to be experiencing some symptoms of the head injury. The forward has dealt with multiple concussions throughout his career, so the Red Wings figure to proceed cautiously with him by giving him the full summer off to recuperate. Franzen expects to be ready for the start of training camp.
