Foligno played 18:03 and led all forwards with 3:02 on the penalty kill as the budding power forward played his best game of the season. After scoring just seven goals last year, Foligno has challenged himself to be a more consistent and better overall player. He's on the right track, though it's early in the season. Foligno has 20-goal potential but offense will be hard to come by for the Sabres, who score by committee with no standout top line. Foligno finished the night with two goals, two hits and was named the game's second star.
