Foligno (general soreness) could make his return to the Buffalo lineup as soon as Saturday. Foligno was able to skate on his own Thursday, but it doesn't sound like he's progressed enough to be a lineup option for Friday's game against the Oilers. However, if Foligno is able to increase his activity during the Sabres' morning skate Friday, coach Ted Nolan could look to swap him into the lineup for the second game of the back-to-back on Saturday. Johan Larsson has been filled in for the injured Foligno during the last two games.
