Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon denied a recent report that Dmitry Kulikov was a healthy scratch on Tuesday to accommodate a trade that ended up falling apart. "No, we sat him because of his play," Tallon said. "[Kulikov] needed a little refresher. I've liked the way he's played since." Kulikov has four points and 35 penalty minutes in 29 games this season.
