Fleury surrendered three goals on 26 shots as the Penguins fell by a 3-1 count Friday against the Islanders. The Islanders used a two-goal third period to pull away from the Penguins, who remain on the playoff bubble heading into Game 82 of the season Saturday against the Sabres. While Friday's loss won't help Fleury's efforts to shed the "choker" label, he actually played fairly well in this one, earning the game's third star while keeping the Pens competitive for most of the night despite the offense's failure to get much going. With their postseason hopes on the line Saturday, expect Fleury to return to the crease.
