Fleury allowed four goals on 34 shots in a 4-1 loss to the visiting Capitals on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The game was a lot closer than the box score lets on, as the Pens were trailing 2-1 nearly midway through the third when T.J. Oshie struck for a pair of a goals to put things out of a reach. It wasn't a great first impression for Fleury and the Pens in front of new head coach Mike Sullivan in his first game behind the Pittsburgh bench. At any rate, Fleury is now 13-10-2 with a 2.29 GAA and .925 save percentage, numbers that illustrate that he's been carrying his share of the weight as one of the most heavily-used goaltenders in the league.
