Fleury was projected to face stiff competition for the starting role from youngster Matt Murray, but a hand injury will keep Murray out well into November. The veteran starter will look to make a case for keeping his full-time job in the meantime, and got off to a great start in this one. He posted a 2.29 GAA and .921 save percentage in 58 games last season, and looks no worse for the wear after getting hurt late in that campaign.
