Fiala was recalled from AHL Milwaukee under emergency conditions Thursday. With James Neal (upper body) and Matt Cullen (lower body) still bothered by injuries, Fiala may get a chance to join the lineup for Saturday's game in Washington. The 2014 first-round draft pick made his NHL debut Tuesday against the Canadiens, recording three shots on goal in 11:25 of ice time.
