Faulk (leg) did not participate in practice Monday, but coach Bill Peters said he will do so Tuesday and the decision on his availability will be made then, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports.

Faulk skipped each of the last two games for the Hurricanes due to the leg issue, but it sounds as though he's still in consideration for Tuesday. The blueliner has been a solid all-around presence for the Hurricanes and fantasy owner alike this season, providing 34 points and 163 shots on goal offensively, blocking 55 shots on the defensive end and adding 100 hits to bring some added physical elements. The team should update his status again on gameday, but his return fortunately appears right around the corner either way.
