it's certainly good news for the Habs faithful that Caufield avoided a more serious injury. The 20-year-old Wisconsin native played in just 10 regular-season contests for Montreal last year in which he recorded four goals on 30 shots and one assist while averaging 13:58 of ice time. Caufield is poised for a top-six role that includes a spot with the No. 1 power-play unit. As such, he could be in line to challenge for the 40-50 point range as a full NHLer this year.
