Khudobin is slated to guard the home cage during Thursday's preseason matchup with Colorado, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.

This may be the last opportunity Khudobin will get to play this preseason, so he'll obviously want to make the most of it. With Ben Bishop (knee) still on the shelf, Khudobin is slated to enter the 2021-22 campaign as Dallas' No. 1 netminder with Braden Holtby or Jake Oettinger serving as his backup.
