Fabian Brunnstrom's first game as Detroit Red Wing was one he will likely want to forget. The Winger replaced Tomas Holmstrom in the Red Wing lineup in a game the team lost 7-1 to Washington. Brunnstrom played only 8:09, took no shots on goal and was minus one for the evening. The contest was also Nicklas Lidstrom's 1500th game in the NHL. We doubt there was much celebrating in the Detroit dressing room after this stinker.
