Fabbri (upper body) was back on the ice Tuesday for the first time since the Blues' first preseason games, Tom TImmerman of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fabbri, who surprised many with 18 goals as a 19-year-old rookie last season, is expected to land himself a top-six role this season -- he skated with Paul Stasny and Alexander Steen during Tuesday's practice. With that comes more ice time on the power play and playing with better-skilled forwards, but that also invites expectation. Can he build off last season's breakout and produce more offense? He's added 15 pounds to his frame, which should help him withstand the rigors of more ice time, but he's a known commodity now and he won't be allowed to sneak up on opponents.
