Coach Barry Trotz stated Sunday that he expects Palmieri to play with Mathew Barzal and Anders Lee in the season opener on October 14 in Carolina. The Islanders hope that Palmieri will continue to score the big goals for them as he did in the playoffs and not be the bust he was during the regular season.
