Evgeni Nabokov is interested in continuing his NHL career beyond the 2013-14 campaign. "I feel like I can still do it," Nabokov said. "[NHL defenseman] Rob Blake told me, 'When it's time, you'll know.' I don't know yet." Nabokov has a 2.87 GAA and .902 save percentage in 36 games this season. He'll turn 39 in July and if the Islanders decide to let him become an unrestricted free agent, Nabokov might have to settle for serving as a team's backup if he wants to stay in the NHL.
