Evgeni Malkin might be able to return from his shoulder before the end of the week. Coach Dan Bylsma reiterated Tuesday that Malkin has not suffered a setback during his recovery. He participated in the team's morning skate, but didn't play against Montreal. Malkin is still listed as day-to-day.
