Rust hadn't played since Nov. 24 due to a lower-body injury, but the 29-year-old was clearly trying to make up for a lost of lost time in one afternoon's work. Rust is up to five goals and 14 points through 13 games on the season, and he's immediately resumed his role on the top line with Sidney Crosby and Jake Guentzel.
