Eriksson logged an assist in a 5-2 victory over Columbus on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The primary feed to Erik Gudbranson broke a seven game pointless streak for Eriksson, and brought him to 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in 32 games in 2017-18. The 32-year-old has been averaging 16:26 of ice time on the season -- down from 18:40 from last year -- and was recently relegated from the Sedin's second line, down to the fourth unit. This certainly isn't an ideal situation for Eriksson, and although his minutes likely won't decrease with the demotion, his offensive opportunities surely will.
