Erik Karlsson netted a pair of goals to lead Sweden to a 4-2 preliminary round win versus the Czech Rebuplic on Wednesday. The Swedes opened the tournament in style by jumping out to a 4-0 lead, but the Czechs battled back to give them a bit of a scare. Karlsson scored once on a delayed penalty and he scored another on a power play in the contest. His defense partner, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, earned two assists in the win, while Henrik Zetterberg and Patrik Berglund scored Sweden's other markers.
