Erik Karlsson, Daniel Alfredsson and Alexander Edler each had a goal and an assist to lead Sweden to a 5-3 win over Latvia Saturday. The Swedes finish the preliminary round at 3-0 and will get one of the top two seeds as the Olympic tournament heads into its playoff format. Sweden was outstanding on the power play as they connected four times in six chances. Patrik Berglund opened the scoring for Sweden while Jonathan Ericsson got the winner. Daniel Sedin had a pair of assists in the win.
