Erik Johnson is looking for forward to the season opener which will take place in his hometown state of Minnesota. Johnson had a disappointing 2011-12 season as he had only 26 points in 73 games. "I'm a Minnesota guy at heart, and my dad had season tickets for the Wild growing up, but it's always good to go in there and beat them in front of family and friends, especially being their home opener and everything. It will feel that much better," Johnson said. The first overall pick in the 2006 Draft is still only 24 and his best years should still be ahead of him. Draft him late and hope he turns it around this season.
