Scheifele was placed on the NHL's COVID-19 protocols Thursday, but could still be an option against Anaheim on Thursday, per Sportsnet's Chris Johnston.

Scheifele becomes the second member of the Jets to enter the COVID-19 protocols along with Blake Wheeler. If Scheifele is unable to play, Winnipeg will be hard-pressed to generate any sort of offense versus the Ducks.
